Beets + Coconut Smoothie
We know adding Beets to your smoothie may seem a little odd, but with an earthy + sweet taste to boost, it will add a unique flavour to your mornings! Not only tasty, Beetroots are an excellent source of folic acid and a very good source of fibre, manganese and potassium.
Mixed with Jax Coco Australia, coconut water – this smoothie will leave you feeling energised without any added nasty’s!
- 1/2 cup of Jax coconut water
- 1/2 cup steamed beets
- 4 dates, pitted
- 1/2 apple
- 1 frozen banana
- Garnish with chopped Almonds, cacao nibs, goji berries & unsweetened coconut flakes.
Start by adding the coconut water to your blender, followed by the soft fruit and dates, then add the frozen banana to your blender last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy. then top with mixed garnish to serve.
