Looking for the secret to natural brighter summer skin?

Epsom salts have a naturally occurring mineral mix of sulphate and magnesium, which means they help flush toxins and calm inflammation in the body. At a low cost and in an eco-friendly manner you can make your own do-it-yourself scrub using the salts to get your whole body smooth and summer-ready!

DIY Face Exfoliator

This is an extremely easy extension to your exfoliating routine. Epsom crystals are smooth and lightly abrasive, so they work well on our gentle facial skin. Just add a 1/2 teaspoon to your favourite cleansing cream or lotion and gently massage all over your face in small circles, then rinse with warm water an pat dry the skin.

DIY Body Exfoliator

This super- easy recipe for a body scrub calls on the use of only a few pure, simple ingredients that are very effective and probably already sitting in your cupboard, just mix them together and apply to the body.

Epsom salts

Olive oil (to clean the skin)

Lemon or lime juice (helps to exfoliate the skin)

Shredded coconut. (To smooth the skin, retain moisture)

This DIY exfoliant will naturally soften the skin, remove dead cells, reduce the body’s inflammation and relax your muscles.

Why should we exfoliate the skin?

When your skin cells begin to pile up on the surface of the skin, it can leave it looking dull, rough, and dry and can lead to blemishes and acne. It’s important to remove the dead skin cells, to draw out impurities, unclog pores, tighten your skin and provide additional moisture. Allowing your daily products to work more effectively.
