Warm, healthful, and slightly sweet, this breakfast meal is inspired by the change in seasons.
½ cup oats
½ cup water
1/3 cup coconut milk
1 tsp cinnamon,
1 tsp ground or fresh ginger
1 tsp raw honey or sweetener of choice
2 tablespoons desiccated/shredded coconut
1 grated pear
Add all ingredients into the rice cooker. Turn on and wait for it to cook. Serve.
Alternatively if using the stove, place all ingredients (except pear) into a small pot and bring to the boil. Reduce down to a medium heat and stir until liquid has been absorbed. Stir in the grated pear. Serve.
